Signature Sampler Show & Swap -- Highlight on Tea Towels.  We're starting off the year with the first of our Signature Sampler Show & Swaps.  Bring the sampler and show off the first band you stitched after your own.  This will be an exciting time to see what has been accomplished on the samplers.  If you are new or just visiting, this will give you a chance to learn about what the chapter is doing this year.  We'll also be Highlighting the Tea Towels Pam taught us last year.  If you haven't finished yours, bring it to get some help, encouragement, or just to show it off.  Hope to see you there.

The Nominating Committee will announce the slate of officers for President and Treasurer.  Let someone on the Board know if you have a candidate for either office.

Ornament Finishing.  Sandy will walk us thru finishing a flat ornament and a button-style ornament.  Bring any ornament you have completed and get some valuable information on how to finish it.  If you have some finished ornaments, please bring them to share how you finished them.  A great time to show and share!

The new President and Treasurer will be installed this month.  Please come out to welcome them to the Board and wish them luck in their time as an officer of the chapter.

Fob Feast -- "Dirty" Uncle Sam.  OK, what's a "Fob Feast" and why is Uncle Sam "Dirty"?  We wanted to continue the fun we always have at our annual Christmas party and "Dirty" Santa exchange, so we came up with the idea of doing a Scissor Fob Exchange, with snacks and goodies, of course.  So stitch up a fob, hopefully in patriotic red, white, and blue or wrapped in patriotic colors and bring it to exchange ala "Dirty" Santa -- thus the "Dirty" Uncle Sam.  Everyone needs at least one more fob for one of those tools, so this is your chance to stitch one for someone else and receive one for yourself.  Get stitching now!  We'll start at 6:30 instead of 7:00 so make sure to mark your calendars for the earlier time.  We'll also be signing up for another "Pick-a-Project" from the Chapter Notebook for the October meeting.
