Signature Sampler Show & Swap -- Highlight on Tea Towels.  We're starting off the year with the our Signature Sampler Show & Swaps.  Bring the sampler and show off the latest band you stitched.  This will be an exciting time to see what has been accomplished on the samplers.  If you are new or just visiting, this will give you a chance to learn about what the chapter is doing this year.  We'll also be Highlighting "Hearts" this month.  If you have a piece with hearts that you are working on or need help, bring it to get some help, encouragement, or just to show it off.  Hope to see you there.

Spectrum.  If you always wanted to know more about color and to stitch a color wheel, now is your chance.  Emily will lead us thru this class on the color wheel.  The instruction books will be ordered and you will furnish your own canvas and threads.  There is a little pre-work to be done before this class, so make sure you check with Susan or Emily to find out what needs to be done.  Come join us for more about color.

Signature Sampler Show & Swap.  This will be the second of our Signature Sampler Show & Swaps  this year. Bring the sampler and show off the  band you stitched the last two months.  This will be an exciting time to see what has been accomplished on the samplers.  If you are new or just visiting, this will give you a chance to learn about what the chapter is doing this year.  We'll also be working on Spectrum since the meeting was cancelled in February due to weather.  This is the time to bring a piece to get some help, encouragement, or just to show it off.  Hope to see you there!

The Nominating Committee will announce the slate of officers who will take office in May.  We'll also vote on the new slate.  Nominations will be taken from the floor.

Painted Canvas Background.  Anne will show us how to paint needlepoint canvas and give it a personal touch before you begin stitching.  This is a great technique and Anne will give us lots of hints and secrets.  A supply list will be published in the newsletter.  You may want to bring an apron or old shirt to protect your clothes.

Signature Sampler Show & Swap -- The End!!!  This is the fourth of our Signature Sampler Show & Swaps this year and the final for the series.  Bring the sampler and show off the fouth band you stitched this year.  This will be an exciting time to see what has been accomplished on the samplers and you will actually get yours back if you are participating.  We can't wait to see what has been stitched on our sampler.  The meeting will start at 6:30 pm and do not forget to bring a snack to share.  The Board will provide the drinks.  If you are new or just visiting, this will give you a chance to learn about what the chapter is doing this year.  If you have a lurking UFO, bring it to get some help, encouragement, or just to show it off.  Hope to see you there.

Christmas Stocking from the ANG Chapter Project Book (you can pick one or two different stockings) will be the project for this month.  Susan will have pictures at earlier meetings for you to choose which stocking you would like to stitch.  Be sure to sign up and collect your supplies to be ready to stitch this cute little stocking.  Just a perfect gift for the Dirty Santa in December.

Tony Minieri's Glittering Kimono is the project of the month.  This program comes from the 2009 ANG Stitch of the Month series.  It will be taught by Emily Caneer.  Please note that you will need to download all the patterns and instructions for the Glittering Kimono from the ANG website at:  http://www.needlepoint.org/Stitch.php.  Download all the files from the "January 2009" through "December 2009" plus "End of 2009" for the finishing instructions to the project.  This is a beautiful design and this will give you a chance to enjoy Tony's use of stitches and color to produce a magnificent final piece.  This will be a great project to stitch!
